CBT-Informed Therapy in London

CBT-informed therapy in London, combining practical tools with emotional support to help with anxiety, stress, and unhelpful thought patterns, including online therapy.

CBT-Informed Therapy

CBT-informed therapy is one of the approaches I integrate into my work as an integrative counsellor. It can be helpful when thoughts, emotions, and behaviours begin to feel stuck in unhelpful patterns.

Rather than following a rigid or manualised model, I use CBT principles flexibly and collaboratively, always guided by your individual needs.

What is CBT-Informed Therapy?

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) focuses on the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. A CBT-informed approach helps increase awareness of these patterns and explores practical ways to respond differently.

This approach draws on the work of Aaron Beck and has evolved over time to support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and choice.

How I Use CBT-Informed Therapy in My Work

In sessions, I may introduce CBT tools where they feel helpful and appropriate. This might include gently exploring patterns of thinking, identifying triggers, or developing coping strategies to manage anxiety or stress.

Any tools are used collaboratively and at a pace that feels manageable, within a warm and relational therapeutic space.

What This Might Look Like in a Session

You might notice that after certain interactions or situations, your mind quickly turns to self-critical or anxious thoughts.

This process can help reduce overwhelm and increase a sense of agency.
